Trustee and Chair of the education group at The Propertymark Trust, Michael Day, has written and recorded a Christmas song with all monies raised (after platform fees) being shared between two charities – The Propertymark Trust and Diabetes UK.
The original song – entitled Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year – was recorded at Long Dog studios and produced by Piers Nolan.
The song title alone should hopefully guarantee it being on everyone’s lips during the festive season.
Whilst you can listen to the song for free on Bandcamp (link below) and also on all the major streaming channels it is hoped that you will be kind enough to make a small donation of just £2 or more (no maximum!) that will also enable you to download.
Please also share and encourage family, friends and work colleagues and contacts to do likewise. Spread that Yuletide cheer!
Michael already has a number of other original songs recorded and available across twenty-four streaming channels including Spotify, Apple, Amazon, Deezer, TikTok, Instagram, You Tube, Bandcamp and others but this is something different as all monies raised (after Bandcamp platform costs) will be shared equally between The Propertymark Trust and Diabetes UK.
The song has a message of remembering those that may need help and sharing some joy and kindness at this important time of year.
Michael said: “Both charities are close to my heart – I have been a type one diabetic for over 35 years and have raised around £8000 for Diabetes UK in the last three years. I am also a Director and Trustee at The Propertymark Trust which supports members of Propertymark, their families and employees with hardship grants and educational grants and bursaries.
There has been excellent trade press coverage in Property Industry Eye, The Negotiator, Estate Agent Today, Property Soup and Today’s Conveyancer in support of the fundraising efforts.”
The song can be listened to and a donation to download made on Bandcamp here:
