Chairperson

Lauren Scott-Simpson

Having started her own sales and lettings agency Trading Places at just 23, Lauren relied on her Propertymark membership for invaluable support during that time. She was voted onto the NAEA Presidential Team in 2017 and saw her Presidency as a way to provide an active role in mentoring and guiding newly qualified agents, or those looking towards a career in the property sector.  In particular, she has a huge interest in supporting women in Estate Agency.  After a very successful presidential term, Lauren was appointed as Chair of The Propertymark Trust, the charitable arm of Propertymark. Lauren has exciting ideas to further grow The Trust, to ensure we are supporting our members and their families.  Lauren’s other passion is her love for horses, she has experienced first hand the healing therapy horses and other animals can give, and is a huge promotor of this to improve wellbeing and reduce stress.  She is a mum to two beautiful little boys, and wife to a very supportive husband!

Trustees

David Votta

David, one of our newer trustees is the current ARLA Propertymark president and has always had a passion for charity work and raising money and awareness for everything he turns his hand to. Before setting up his own company in 2018 he was the charity ambassador for the organisations he worked for previously, often organising charity events and inspiring others to give their time up for those in need. David has previously suffered a few tragedy’s in his life which inspired him to not only look at life through a different lens but give up his time and come on board to the Propertymark trust to give back.

John has been a member of NAEA Propertymark since 1968. Having retired from a six branch practice in Kent he is now a freelance property consultant, assessor and verifier for NVQ’s in the property sector.

Mary-Louise

I have been working in the Property industry for almost 22 years, dealing in all aspects of the sector, I also run my own business and with this I have enjoyed my career to the fullest however it also comes with its challenges and stress and navigating how to work on how to overcome hurdles and challenges. The property industry can be one of the toughest to endure and we all face conflicts and struggles which are difficult and challenging. That is why it is a great honour for me to be a Trustee for The Propertymark Trust, the charity for our people, a charity who can help Propertymark members when they need it.

Aidan Reed

Aidan is a Chartered Surveyor and has been involved in the property sector for over 35 years. He has been a member of NAEA Propertymark since 1989 and served on the Propertymark Board for five years.

Ambassadors

Megan Eighteen

I juggle many roles from being regional executive for ARLA Propertymark, working practitioner for Lettings but also and most importantly being a Mummy. Depending on the day will depend on what “hat” I wear and ensuring I practice self care is vital to ensuring I keep balance to my mental health and responsibilities. I am honoured to be working alongside The Propertymark trust ensuring that our members are supported in their most needed times
